There were mainly two reasons in the past for using FHEM:
- It was the best tool to integrate my eQ3 MAX! heating control system.
- I was able to integrate my other 433Mhz devices.
I still use FHEM because I am familiar with it and have already integrated a lot of IoT devices. And FHEM still meets all my needs.
In addition, I also use FHEM for some other purposes, as when installed on a Raspberry Pi it makes it easier to control various sensors and actors and even allows for the easy implementation of a Telegram bot.
